Mary Sue-Clayton
Wedding |
| May 18, 2002 -- John Jay Homestead, home
of the first chief justice of the Supreme Court in Katonah was
the site for this outdoor tent wedding between Mary Sue and
Clayton. Soft pastel colors with a twiggy natural look
was the theme for the day. A view of the wedding flowers
follows. |

 |
| The bride's bouquet was
a stem-tied style designed using various shades of pale
pink peonies, butter cream stock, blush pink roses, rosemary,
and lily of the valley. |
Softly colored bouquets
of ivory roses, lavender stock, light blue delphinium,
pink peonies, and rosemary were carried by the bridesmaids. |
|
|
 |
| The centerpieces were created
using hand crafted birch baskets holding pink peonies,
lavender stock, lilacs, lisianthus, phlox, spray roses,
and birch branches. |
Each aisle chair was accented
with a bouquet of pink peonies and rice flower, attached
with a celadon organdy ribbon. |
|
|
 |
| The tent side
poles and cross braces were decorated with birch branches,
banot vines, and springerii to create a natural feeling.
Chinese paper lanterns hung from the tent, providing
light and softening the area. |
