Amy-Ethan Wedding

May 26, 2002 -- The wedding of Amy and Ethan incorporated many different elements including a placecard board and candle lanterns.  A chuppah of airy organza and chiffon lent an ethereal feeling to the ceremony.   The ceremony and reception were held at the Harrison Jewish Community Center, Harrison, New York. Images of the wedding flowers are presented below.

Bride's Bouquet

Bridesmaids' Bouquet
The bride's bouquet, a stem-tied, was designed with pale yellow roses, lisianthus, sweet peas, muscari, butter cream stock, and veronica.   The attendants carried bright pink roses, buttercream stock, freesia, and light blue delphinium.

Flowergirl Headwreath

The flowergirl carried a basket of petals and wore the head wreath above.  Stock, delphinium, muscari, and sweetpeas were used.

Ringbearer Pillow

Aisle with Petals
The ringbearer's pillow, hand made from islet fabric, held two candy rings one for each the bride and the groom. Each side of the aisle runner was adorned with a border of flower petals.

Pews

Chuppah
The ends of the seating rows were accented with peonies and stock attached with a satin bow. The chuppah was created using organza and chiffon fabrics to achieve an ethereal feel.  Bouquets of pastel colored flowers accented each leg.

Placecard Board

Cocktail Tables

Breaking with tradition, a placecard board held all of the guests names and their table assignment.  The board was flanked with floor standing candle lanterns.  A rose bowl with a floating candle and rose petals was place in the center of each cocktail table.

Centerpiece

Sweetheart Table

The centerpieces were created using pink peonies, buttercream stock, trachilium, lisianthus, pale yellow and hot pink roses, and dark blue delphinium.  Pillar candles added a soft glow to the table setting. The sweetheart table used the same arrangements as the guest tables, but additionally ivy and petals were incorporated.
