Alex's Bar Mitzvah
June 1, 2002 -- The bar mitzvah of Alex took place at the Jewish Family Congregation in South Salem, New York.  The reception was at The Inn at Pound Ridge in Pound Ridge, New York.  A baseball theme was incorporated for the tables of his friends.

  Centerpieces
A tall vase of blue and white flowers were designed for the windows on either side of the sanctuary.  The flowers included hybrid delphinium, larkspur, Dutch mums, spray aster, and privet.   Carrying the blue and white theme through to the reception, the centerpieces were vases of light and dark blue delphinium and white parrot tulips.
 

Balloons

 
The tables for Alex's friends included balloons tied to baseball mits filled with chocolate baseball candies.
